The Sunny Jim Sea Cave is the only California sea caves that is accessible by land. It’s a wonderful spot to catch some great views. You can access the staircase down into the cave through the Cave Store on Coast Boulevard. Keep in mind that this is an old, wooden staircase so it may be unsuitable for some visitors.
Scripps Pier
Scrips Pier is one of the largest working piers. In addition, it aids in research of the Pacific Ocean and marine life studies. While it isn’t possible to walk on the pier except for certain instances, you can get amazing photos underneath its pylons. Sunset and sunrise make this a magical sight to see.
The Village Art Scene
In the downtown Village, you can find incredible murals sprinkled across buildings and billboards. This is a project created through the Athenaeum. Each mural is on display for a maximum of two years. They regularly offer a walking tour so you can see the majority of them in one go.
