1. Do you have other rental units?
We have only this one privately-owned,
2-bedroom, 2-bath vacation rental.

2. If I bring bicycles, will there be storage for those?
Yes, there is some outdoor storage space on our side yard.
It is open to the weather, but it will be locked and not shared with any other building.

3. Since this is an upstairs rental, is there storage downstairs for my stroller or beach toys?
Yes, there is an exterior closet with enough space for a stroller or a few beach toys. Please let us know how much you will be bringing to make sure the space is sufficient for your needs.

4. How is the noise level on the street?
There are some neighborhood sounds during the day such as a little mild street traffic and vacationers walking to and from the beach. We are not in the block with the restaurants, and even those close down around 10:00 p.m. This is not a busy street such as what you would find staying in downtown San Diego. Avenida De La Playa is a short, 2-lane street with some small businesses such as surf shops, restaurants and small offices, with a small neighborhood feel. We have air conditioners in each room, which can also function as fans when you don’t need cooling. These are great for blocking out noise from the neighborhood when you want that nice afternoon nap.

5. What is located downstairs below the vacation rental? Will I be above a restaurant?
The first floor of our building houses our financial management business with a maximum of three employees at any one time, so it is a quiet business with almost no street traffic such as you would find with a retail store or restaurant. The office can be helpful for you, because our employees are available for questions if a need arises. There are no restaurants in our block.

6. I see you say no pets. What about my small dog that doesn’t shed or get on the furniture?
Even though we are pet lovers, too, we have decided to keep a pet-free and smoke-free environment. That way, future vacationers who might have allergies will know this rental has never had pets or smoking. It also keeps us from having to make decisions about which pets are allowed.

7. Do you have a stroller for us to use?
Although we do offer a pack-n-play (portable crib), the vacation rental does not provide a stroller and other baby products. You may rent a stroller from one of the following locations. Please be aware these companies were found online, but we have not worked with them ourselves. We make no guarantee about their services.
